Privacy statement

We process as little personal data as possible. This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is OT Security Hub. You can reach us at info@socforot.eu.

What we process and why

  • Server and hosting data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the requested page and the time of the request. We need this to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) is a secure, working website.
  • Analytics. We measure how often pages are viewed with privacy-friendly analytics. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across websites. Our legitimate interest is understanding which content is useful.
  • Display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
  • E-mail. If you contact us, we use your e-mail address and message to answer you. We delete correspondence when we no longer need it. Our legitimate interest is handling your question.

Who receives data

We use service providers to run the website, such as our hosting provider and e-mail provider. They process data on our behalf under agreements that protect it. Some providers are based outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Hosting logs are kept for a limited period, as set by the hosting provider. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you. E-mail is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to info@socforot.eu. You can also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We may update this statement from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page.
