Editorial policy
Sponsored content and partners
- We may publish sponsored content, advertorials or paid placements, but only if we support the mentioned service or solution.
- Sponsored content is always labelled as such, so you can tell it apart from our editorial articles.
- When we name products or providers in editorial articles, we explain why we mention them.
- If an author has a professional relationship that is relevant to an article, we disclose it in that article.
Sources and accuracy
- Factual claims, statistics and legal statements are backed by sources, listed at the end of each article. We prefer primary sources: legislation, standards bodies, government agencies and peer-reviewed research.
- We do not publish statistics whose origin and method we cannot trace.
- Regulation pages show the date their legal status was last verified.
Authors and review
Every article has a named author with relevant expertise. Where an article has been reviewed by a second subject-matter expert, the reviewer is named as well.
Updates and corrections
We review key articles regularly, and regulation pages whenever the law or guidance changes.

Use of AI
We may use AI tools to support research, translation drafts and editing. Every published text is checked, edited and approved by a human author, who remains responsible for its accuracy.
